As I was laying on my couch watching The Nanny and trying not to die, all I could think about was how much I wanted my mommy. (No, not my mom, my mommy). I called her up and told her I was sick. She told me to go to Walgreens and get some medicine. I'm glad I was sick because the whole time I was talking to her, I was bawling my eyes out. I just wanted my mommy. And as much as I love my roommates, they were no substitute for her.
I've taken my family for granted. I really have. I always thought my siblings were born to pester and annoy me. Which is totally NOT the case. I love calling home and talking to Julianne. She's 12 and in that cute pre-teen stage where she likes to talk about boys, fashion, and hair. It's super fun to see her where I used to be.
I also love talking to my little brother, Kendall. Growing up in a family of all girls is never easy, but it makes it easy for me to talk to him about anything because well...he understands girls. :) ha!
Rachael has been a god-send as well. She is so logical and understanding. She tells it like it is and has some of the best advice.
So, I guess the point of this blog is just to say: I love my family!! :)
