I've had some pretty tough stuff happen to me this week.
Stuff that really isn't a big deal, but at the same time...kind of is.

Things that have shaken my self worth a little bit.
When I was weeping talking to my mom about it, she reminded me of something. She said "Elisabeth, what can one person do to you? Are you going to let it affect you? Or are you going to think about all the other people who DO love you?"

Then one of my best friends from Sugar City texted me and asked if I was coming up this weekend and was so excited to see me.

Then last night, I was dancing randomly as my roommate and I were getting ready for bed (cause that's how I do) and my roommate was laughing and told me that she was glad to have me around.

And I realized something...even if there is one person that absolutely loathes me, I have about 50 other people who think I am truly awesome.

And that's something to smile about.

  1. I think you're awesome! :) I love reading your blog! It's honestly one of my favorite reads :)

    xoxo, Lizzy

  2. That is a great realization Elisabeth! :) Way to be girl! And it's the truth. :) You are amazing!!! And you make a lot of people smile!

  3. I have had this same issue for months now. And I've wept to my Mom about it probably three or four times. What your Mom said is much like what mine did. People are stupid and if they can't realize how AWESOME you are, they aren't worth your time. :)

I love you and love reading your blog! Even though I don't know you!

  4. Amen! I think you're pretty amazing. :)

  5. I'd have to say that there are at least a good 286 people who absolutely adore you, darling. Hang in there. And you ARE awesome. Thank you for sharing exactly what I needed to see/hear/read today. LOVE YOU. :)

  6. This is such a great post'! Everyone needs to realize this!

  7. Love you Lady! Let's do something soon!
