The Day Brooklyn Met Me

My best friend Brooklyn & I are doing a blog swap today! She's talking today about how she met me and I'm talking about how I met her! Go check it out! :) Now I present.....MY BEST FRIEND!


Elisabeth is one of my best friends. We've known each other less than a year yet I feel like I've known her forever. We always laugh when people ask how we met. So let's take a trip down memory lane.

I wish I had documented every moment of our relationship because I don't exactly remember how it all played out. But I remember blog stalking her and realizing, "This girl is amazing. I want to be like her." And I continued to blog stalk and comment. I followed her on instagram and had instant hair envy. I emailed her and asked what kind of hair shampoo and conditioner she used, and we hit it off.

We exchanged some emails about completely pointless things and I ended up deciding it would be much easier to talk to her if I could have her phone number. So I asked her for it. And she gave it to me.

We texted for a few months about our lives, blogging and more. We became really close. When I moved back to Logan we realized we lived across the street from each other. So we decided to meet. I was SO nervous. I'm honestly not the most captivating person and I get really really nervous. What if I couldn't think of anything to say? Alas, I met her and she gave me a huge hug. We laughed over our height difference (almost a foot) and giggled even more as people walked by and asked how long we've been friends. 

We've been inseparable ever since. She gets me. (see below.) She brings me Sprite at midnight when I'm puking my guts out. She'll put my head on straight when I'm being ridiculous. And she remembers every boy I've ever talked to her about, even ones she's never met. 

Isn't she awesome? She is the epitome of a good friend. We can talk about everything from HTML to our mistakes in the past. And I am forever grateful to the blogging world for somehow putting us together.
